Music from the BML studio - Alexander, The Truth

It’s our philosophy that having a decent soundtrack to the working day helps to get the best creativity out of our team.

So we thought we’d introduce a new regular feature called ‘Music from the BML studio’ where we could help to spread the word about some of the artists that our team have been beavering away to recently.

First up is the cracking new single from Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros frontman Alexander, called ‘The Truth’. We first heard this on 6 music and were immediately blown away by the soaring melodies and haunting lyrics. The best part – you can get it as a free download from Rough Trade by clicking on the link in the player below.

We think it’s one of the best debuts we’ve heard in some time, but have a listen and see if you agree…

I sincerely believe that graphism and music are linked, it depends on what you work/how you feel too!

Alex Ebert is the white Mos Def. Beautiful song with a touch of improvisation – simply magnificent.
