If you’ve visited the BML Creative website before, you might have noticed that we’ve made a few adjustments recently. This was in response to user feedback from developer forums and discussions in-house.
V5 features a fixed width structure rather than the the old ‘floating’ layout. We feel that this helps to contain the box elements better giving the site a much stronger look.
The other major change is to the navigation system. We’ve done away with the old image-based main nav, in favour of a slick new all-CSS3 menu. We have complemented this with a horizontal secondary nav menu on all sections of the site. We had some comments that having a vertical secondary navigation on the text-based pages and a horizontal navigation system on the portfolio pages was a little confusing. So, we’ve decided to go for a horizontal nav all the way through the site.
To finish off the new look we have enhanced the styling of all the UI elements, including new look buttons, background gradient images, webkit corner borders and highlights. All this helps to give greater visual depth and appeal.
We think the latest release is a big improvement – but we’d be happy to hear any thoughts you might have on the latest changes.

Oh god yeah – I love this colour scheme. For some reason, I keep thinking “chocolate lime”….you’ve just made it onto my hallowed bookmark folder :)
