It has been a bit of a purple patch for BML recently. We’ve started work on some fantastic projects with some great new clients, so we thought we’d share some of the good news.
Firstly, we are proud to announce that BML Creative have been appointed by Gateways School to design their new school prospectus. Located in Harewood just outside of Leeds, Gateways is one of the areas leading independent schools and we’re incredibly excited to have been selected following a pitch against some stiff opposition. Without giving too much away, a key feature of the new design will be the involvement of some really fantastic materials which are designed to reflect the quality of the educational standards at Gateways. So, make sure you watch this space in September when the new prospectus rolls off the press.
Our Gateways appointment follows hot on the heels of our successful pitch to Loop Customer Management to design the front end of their new intranet. Loop is part of the Kelda Group who own Yorkshire Water. They handle all of the customer facing issues relating to Yorkshire Water service and employ over 600 people from their state-of-the-art call centre in Bradford. Loop have been named as one of the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Places to Work in the UK seven times since 2003, most recently in March 2011. We’ve incredibly proud to be working with such a high profile organisation and to have made it through the rigorous selection process that accompanies such responsible projects. The new intranet is likely to be completed by the end of the year, so check back in December to see how it unfolds.
A final mention goes to Union Industries in Leeds who have selected BML to design their new corporate brochure pack. Union Industries is the trading name of Ralph Ellerker who were founded in 1795. Based at the fabulous Angel’s Wing building in Leeds, Union Industries are quite possibly the finest bespoke manufacturing company in the world. They specialise in high speed roller doors and work with some of the worlds biggest companies including Tescos and Sainsbury’s. BML were selected because of the strength of our previous work, our attention to detail and our dedication to delivering the finest possible service. We are working on some great ideas for the new pack where their absolutely fabulous hand painted logo plays a prominent role. The pack should be going to press in the next few weeks.

Well done on the Gateway School job – it’ll be my images you’ll be using in that document. See my own post on the subject. Brill stuff.
Thanks, Roger!
We’ve just been given the photos by Gateways and they look great – really lovely natural shots. It’s such a pleasure to have good images to work with, as it makes huge difference to the quality of the publication. Can you send over your details to info@bml-creative.co.uk as we will definitely bare you in mind for future projects?
Cheers
David
Thats so true. It really sucks if you have to work with bad looking images. But to be honest, the images used on the website of this school look really good. Not too fancy, very natural. Good job @ photographer!
Cool updates you have here mate, you guys indeed deserve these big breaks. More power to you and more future projects to come. :)
You guys seem like you do a lot of high quality business here. Hand painted logos definitely have a higher quality than some digital quickies. Congratulatons on all your successes I my company gets big enough that we are in need of brochures and the such I will be visitng BML again.
Congratulations on Gateway and much continued success to your company!
BTW, that hand painted-logo by Union is gorgeous!
Have just seen the newly printed Gateway’s Prospectus having just been to see their marketing people again – looks really stylish and top quality. Remember where I am if more photography work is needed. Rog
Thanks, Rog!
We will certainly be in touch… We’ve added the project to our portfolio (Gateways School prospectus design) and I’ve included a photo credit for you. Hopefully we’ll get to output some more great work in the future!
Cheers
