Having worked closely with The Property Centre in Gloucester for more than 6 years, BML were finally commissioned to take on the tall task of developing a brand new website for the company and it’s two subsidiary brands.
The main driver behind the site was to make property searching more intuitive and engaging and also to encourage more registrations and valuations.
The old site was tired and uninspiring. The new site we have designed puts the user and social media at the fore, with a fully customisable property search function, user accounts, social sharing and a focus on data collection and customer retention.
Built on a custom PHP framework, the new CMS shares content on the companies two other websites – themortgagecentres.com (due for release shortly) and mpower.co.uk. This means that updating the content on one site automatically updates the relevant sections on the other two sites, saving a huge amount of administrative time.
The proof of the new site’s success can be measured in it’s visitor numbers – over 400 per day in the first month alone with each user staying on site for over 5 minutes on average. Now that is what is known in the trade as a seriously impressive launch!
